The new edition of the Advanced Urban Design Workshop launches visiting Cuatro Vientos area

Last Friday was the launching of the Advanced Urban Design Workshop of the Master in Architecture of the Nebrija University with a visit to the project site of this years edition, the Cuatro Vientos military base in Madrid, where students will explore the possibilities of transforming the area into a new productive and mixed-use district with key emphasis on programatic innovation.

Juan Tur, director of the Workshop , together with professor Alexandra Delgado and the students of the course had the chance to visit this long-time abandoned area. A complex of warehouses and buildings arranged around a former railway line leading to Madrid Center, that presents the chance to explore new programs and ideas to establish a new multifunctional and productive district recycling the industrial buildings and taking advantage of the patina of the site and its great location.
