Last Monday 1st October, the Jury members of the Internation Competition for the Renewal of the area of the City Hospital District in Oviedo, Spain, have chosen our proposal "HUCAMP! Construction works have started for the Renovation of the P03 and P05 Houses in Madrid. The two houses are constructions dated from 1944 and part of the Historical Garden City of Alfonso XIII Ciudad Jardín.
The works will transform the two abandoned villas into two contemporary houses, including the structural consolidation of its structure and the complete restructuring of its interiors and oudorrspaces.

The course , directed by professors Lina Toro and Fernando Rodriguez, explores the possibilities of transformation of the Torrent des Jueus Area in Playa de Palma into new spaces and programs that will contribute to redefine the "sun&beach" tourist areas into a new example of a sustainable tourism with new programs.
Last Friday was the launching of the Advanced Urban Design Workshop of the Master in Architecture of the Nebrija University with a visit to the project site of this years edition, the Cuatro Vientos military base in Madrid, where students will explore the possibilities of transforming the area into a new productive and mixed-use district with key emphasis on programatic innovation.

Pradera Urbana , our design proposal for the International Competition for the Renewal of the Plaza de España in Madrid, promoted by the City Council, was one of the 5 shortlisted proposals to go to the Second Round of Design after a selection process with a combination of the votes from a Technical Jury and the Popular voting by Madrilenians .
In fact, our proposal came out as the preferred design by citizens out of the 73 contestants.
