The neighbourhood´s modernist urban pattern and the lack of a good connection with the the city center, has generated a collection of public spaces without identity and dominated by car parking areas of asphalt. The intervention seeks to requalify the public spaces network through three lines of identity with define strong public spaces, give a new order to the neighbourhood, stablish a relation with the surrounding landscape and bring spaces for social relation under sustainable solutions.

THE URBAN AXIS: By reconfiguring the street profile of the main street into a tradicional “corridor street” full of trees, the neighbourhood receives the necessary center core for social relation, commmerce and activities.

THE INTERIOR PARK: The innerareas of the blocks, parking lots today, are transformed in a green area that continues the lanscape conditions of the existing urban park.

THE SOFT EDGE: The residual green spaces located in the low part of the development, with no identity or use today, are transformed into a low maintaince area of wild riverside vegetation.
